The result of the one day masterclass street photography ‘de straat op’ / ‘het geluk ligt op straat’ door het Stadsarchief Amsterdam, in 2014 conducted by Theo Niekus and Reinier Gerrit
One hour and a half to take pictures on the street with a theme, in the companion of the masters.
Half an hour photo selection time for five pictures, no Photoshop or whatever.

It was an honor to be part of it and to learn from the Theo Niekus and Reinier Gerritsen
It was nice tot share this all with 6 other participants, including Chad Bilyeu (‘Chad in Amsterdam’). It was also nice that our pictures were exposed for a week on big screens outside the Stadsarchief Amsterdam.
Theo Niekus
It was very sad to hear of the death of Theo Niekus (on the right in the back row in the photo) in 2019. His work and importance of (his) legacy are highly recommended.
