I met J. and S in May 2022 at the station in Liège.I walked around with a camera and S. asked if I wanted to photograph him, which I wanted. After that I was allowed to took pictures of the slightly shyer brother J.
S. wrote down an instagram address. where I forgot to check if I had read it correctly. Unfortunately that was not the case, so I initially lost contact and could not send the photos to the brothers.
A few years later, it still didn’t sit well with me and I decided to look again. In the meantime I had already started a drawing ‘pour tous les Johns’. Miraculously, I found an article by a journalist about a football club in Belgium, where S., a good football player, had played. I contacted the journalist who put me in touch with S. This way I could still send the photos 3 years later.
